You might be a plumber, web designer, accountant, VB/SQL programmer,
public speaker, management consultant, stained glass window maker, gardener,
carpenter, construction project planner or a cleaner. Give it a go !
How do I know that the person
advertising is genuine ? top
It is up to you to assess the other person and whether you can form
a useful teaching or working relationship with them. Just as if you
had met them in business or at a convention or down the pub or on the
train etc. It is up to both of you to work out whether you have something
to offer each other.
Do I have to become a member
? top
You don't have to become a member to search the skills resource. But
you will need to if you want to reply to one of the postings. As a member
you can contact any members that you want to exchange skills with. When
you register you will enter the skills set that you are prepared to
exchange for the skills of other member(s).
Do I have to exchange skills with
someone who gets in contact with me? top
Absolutely not, only do it if you want to. Having said that please don't
register on the site if you just like receiving emails. By registering
on the site it is taken that you want the skills that you have requested
and that you can genuinely provide the skills that you offer in your
profile.
When will my details be active
on the site ? top
When you register on the site you will be sent an email to confirm your
application and enable you to activate your details so that they will
be available for anyone else to search. You will also then be able to
get in contact with any of the members that are of interest to you.
The whole process may only take a couple of minutes !
Who will have access to my email
address, I'm not sure about giving mine out ? top
Only other members who have joined using the same mechanism as you will
be able to send you an email. The first time another member sends you
an email they will not see your email address. They will only see it
if you reply to theirs.
Can I update my skills details
that other members search for ? top
If you want to update your skills details just log in using your members
username and password and select the UPDATE
option from the site navigation menu.
Is there any charge for using
this site ? top
There is currently no charge for using this site.
If I use this site will it give
me a bigger dick ? top
Probably not, but it might feel like it.
